The Silver Mine in Tombstone, AZ

While on our "Tombstone trip", we also stopped by Kartchner Caverns and took the tour. It is a natural cave that two men discovered in the 1970's, but they just recently opened it up to the public a year ago. It was awesome, I was in awe the entire time. God has some beautiful creations under ground we rarely get to see. We forgot to take our camera, so we don't have any pictures of it. These two pictures are of the silver mine in Tombstone. It was just as impressive as Kartchner Caverns. The tunnels went underground for 40 miles. The tour guide told us that back when they opened the mine, in the days of Doc Holiday & Wyatt Earp, that they mined only by the light of candles. It is pitch dark down there!! They were definetely tough back then. We learned a lot about the history of Arizona on this trip. We also went to the graveyard of the famous gunfighters & toured the town, which included the OK Corral & The Bird Cage Saloon. It was a fun trip.

Jessica,
Hey it's Jimi Finlinson. Wow you look amazing! Your family is darling! Rumor has it that you joined the Church, when did that happen? I live in Santaquin now, actually just down the street from Bill & Chrissy's old house. They moved out one month before we moved in. You look great and happy, keep it up.
Take care

Hi Jimi,
Thanks, you also look great and have a super cute family!! Yeah, I joined 7 yrs ago. Kyle was a good little missionary:) I love the Church & its teachings. I am in Primary, teaching the 9 yr olds. They have a ton of energy, and are goofy, which makes it fun. Kyle is 2nd Counselor in E.Q. Pres. Before that, he was Secretary to the Bishop. He really loved that calling b/c our Bishop is great.
Your blog entries are fun to read, funny & entertaining:) It's good to see what everyone is up to 13 years later (wow, we are OLD!!!).
Take care, Jess
